Visited this location now for the third time. It's always an honor for me to paint this loved scene from

just about everyone that lives in The Hague and especially if they live in Loosduinen.

I love this scene, and I have every intention to make a series with it. The juxtaposition of the objects depicted are in harmony, making it a joy to paint. Mind you not that it makes it any easier to paint, just that it makes it easier for the viewer to appreciate the scene.

I think I found a new subject matter to create a series with. Located not too far away from my studio so that's convenient. There was a Montmarte market going on that day so the extra flags were hanging, which made it more colorful.
