I finally made it to Friesland to capture the beauty of one of Holland's favorite recreational areas. The activity on this lake carries on the whole year through. Spring, summer and fall with sailing/boating, winter's with ice skating. This lake is part of the famous 11 city skating track, over 200 kilometers race through 11 cities, which takes place, provided that the waters are well frozen over!
