Yes folks, summer has arrived, and these little people are certainly taking full advantage of the situation. School is out, the water is warming up, fish are jumpin', the tide is low, and the living is easy. Sailors are also enjoying the warm temperatures.

We have had serious thunderstorms and lightening. One person killed in New Hampshire. Piles of rain. It's good to see you, Alberto.

Delightful - your little girl looks as though she is having fun.. yes - nice and simple - you convey in just a few brushstrokes how it was that day.. when there is nothing to beat the beachlife along the north sea coast and the sea was refreshing rather than forbiddingly cold. Losing the foreground edge into the sea creates a very distant horizon in such a small canvas - a successful compositional ploy.. love it xx
