Here is a view from what I beleive is South Hollands(Zuid Holland) highest point. Painted almost a year ago, this work was originally 40 x 100 cm. It didn't work out at that size, so I decided to keep the most interesting part of the painting and touch it up a little.

Surprise.. it works! The pale blue band of sky penetrating the grey cloud is a very important reason why and the foreground is definitely ok now. Well salvaged! Jx
