A good place to go to think things over, get a breath of fresh air, and strech your legs. If its winter and you are going to stand still and make a painting, you better put some warm clothing on and sit yourself up somewhere out of the wind. One can never get bored of painting the sea, as you never get the same situation before your eyes twice. Light, which is constantly changing, effects everything, this is most evident at sea, especially the North Sea.
