For my 1st Plein-Air painting of 2013, I decided to head out to my favorite place at South Beach, between Scheveningen and Kijkduin. Would have went out there sooner, but as we in The Lowlands were well aware of, it had been grey, dark and wet for a long time! On this day the clouds finally burst open late in the afternoon, and as we are still having very short days, I didn;t have but about 45 minutes to make this painting! Glad I got out there, as now I have yet another work to hang at my up and coming exhibition in the very hotel, and I might add, the only building you see featured in this painting.
